Group Paddle @ Lake Cooley: Welcome

Group Paddle @

Lake Cooley

Join us Tuesday, September 13th • 6 pm - 8 pm

100 Cooley Dock Rd, Inman, SC 29349

Are you ready for some fun on the water? Join us for a group paddle of Lake Cooley where you'll have the opportunity to chat with Tyger River Foundation staff, board, and committee members. Our group has decades of combined experience protecting the natural and historic resources of the Tyger River basin.

Whether you have a kayak or need to reserve one, we have a great evening planned at Lake Cooley.  The Spartanburg County Parks Department has generously allowed us to reserve their limited kayaks at no cost, so register early! If you have your own there is a special bonus: SJWD Water District has agreed to waive canoe/kayak permit requirements for this event only!

All participants (including those with their own kayaks) must register in advance so we can make accommodations. For group registration, email or call 864-586-6600.

Please note: All participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and secure their boat reservations. We will embark promptly at 6 pm.

Spartanburg County Parks will lead a brief demonstration and training on proper paddling techniques at the beginning of the outing.

Click the button below to register online or call 864-586-6600 to register by phone.

UPDATE: REGISTRATION IS FULL - Please check back for future events.
